Renegade Thread Play is a techniques class where the student learns how Melinda sews through layers of the fusible web while adding highlights, shadow, and detail to her award-winning quilts.
Learn how to master your machine while doing free motion quilting. Melinda has lots of tricks that help you feel more confident about doing free motion quilting.  We are breaking all the rules while adding color and design to our flowers.

There is a $45 kit that helps speed up the class, so you get the most out of the experience.

Complete Kit includes: 
Thread play workbooks (25 pages),
"Pansy“ flower pattern to start in class and complete at home. 
A package of assorted fabric shapes that are already fused and cut out.
3 spools of Sulky 30-40 weight rayon thread plus
the right needle.
Note to Program Chairs:
The student's sewing machine must be in good working order. Please infamize this when signing up students.
Know how to work your machine before you get to class, or you will have a difficult time in class.
