Take a humorous look through the eyes of a quilt artist as she finds her way through the world of art, quilting and wearable arts. Melinda shows the evolution of her art with humor and lots of inspiration.

Day Classes (6
hours)
Learn
the basics for building a
Fusible Flower
quilt in these 6 hour classes. All students in the class work from the same flower pattern.
You will learn the steps of developing a flower art quilt, including
how color works to make a flower look real, how to use the fusible
and lay out of design. I encourage creativity while assisting those
who may feel timid about color and design. All skill levels can
master these flowers and make them their own. The students will get
80% of their flower done in class. Renegade
Thread Play is
covered and demonstrated in class.
Note: There is a $15 pattern fee
for pattern (most pattern pieces traced for student) and all hand
outs.
The
class will all do the same flower but can choose the colors for
their project as the flowers can be done in any color.
Your
class can select the Geranium, Sunflower, Coneflower,
Summer Rose, Bird of Paradise, Clematis, Zinnia or the NEW
Bluebonnet pattern
or the NEW Renegade Thread Play class.
