SUNFLOWER

There is a $15 pattern fee for the class that includes pattern, all hand outs, and 1/2 yard Steam-A-Seam 2, 18" wide.

Sewing machine is not needed in class.

 

Supply List

• 1/2 yd background fabric

• (4) 1/4 yd of yellow ranging in dark to light for your sunflower petals

• (3) 1/4 yd for your leaves,

• (See pattern and color chart) dark browns or dark purple for the center of the sunflower

• 1/2 yd for inner border

• 3/4 yd for outer border

• 2 yd Steam-A-Seam 2, preferably 18” wide

• Scissors, rotary cutter, rulers, and mat

• Iron and ironing board (unless supplied by venue)

• Teflon pressing sheet

Items below are required to finish your quilt but are not necessary for class:

• Sulky 30 weight thread in colors that match your flower

• Jeans Denim needles or Top Stitch needles in size 12/80 - 14/90

• 1 yd batting,

• 1 yd backing fabric,

• 3 yd finished binding
