There is a $15 pattern fee for this class for pattern and instructional hand outs for Renegade Thread Play.

Use the color chart to help you shop for fabric colors and yardage amounts.

Sewing machine is not needed in class.

 

Supply List

• 1/2 yd background fabric

• 1/2 yd or a fat quarter for base flower

• (16) 1/4 yds or fat quarter yards that range from light to dark for your flower (see color chart)

• (6) 1/4 yd greens in lights, mediums, and darks

• 2 bright yellows/oranges for the stamen of the flower (see picture)

• 1 yd background fabricin a dark color

• Tweezers or stiletto to help you move small pieces around

• Straight pins with glass heads

• Sharp Scissors for paper and fabric

• Rotary cutter, rulers, and mat

• Sharpie markers, fine tip and bold tip, in black

• 4 yds Steam-A-Seam 2, preferably 18” wide

• Plastic baggie to keep your pattern pieces in

• Iron and ironing board (unless supplied by venue)

• Teflon pressing sheet (optional)

• Foam core board, size 19" x 24" to use as a design board (optional)

 

To Complete Your Quilt

• Sulky 30 weight thread in colors that match your quilt and background

• Jeans Denim needles or Top Stitch needles, in size 12/80 - 14/90

• Cotton thread for the bobbin in a 40 or 50 weight

• Extra bobbins

• 1/2 yd batting

• 1/2 yd backing fabric

• 3 yds of finish binding
