51" x 72" It’s a time. It’s a place. It’s a feeling. I wanted to create the feeling and look of an old world tapestry using fusible fabric and thread. I added detail with thread using my Renegade Thread technique. This was a throw yourself on the bed and cry piece. I had never done a piece this big before and putting a large fusible quilt through my good old Bernina sewing machine was quite a challenge, but worth the effort. Being successful at your art or quilting always requires persistence. I love the whole art process: the good, the bad and the ugly.
