Hidden Beach was a special place that I would go to and find peace.  As many young families today, we had a period of trial and hardships in those early years of marriage. The things that kept me going through those hard times were my faith and walks to Hidden Beach.  My son and I would spend hours there playing in the surf and I would pray for strength to get through another day. Today I live miles away from my Hidden Beach and my life has changed, but as I watch my only child become a man, earn his college degree and contemplate serving his country in the military, I am again drawn to the peace and strength of my Hidden Beach.
