Apple Bowl
2003
38 " x 45"
There is a beautiful place close to our home called Apple Hill. In the fall the air is filled with the perfume of ripening apples and baking pies. This Apple Bowl quilt was inspired by a picture I saw in a country magazine. It looks like we just got back from a trip to Apple Hill. I framed this quilt to look like it is in an old wooden frame, but it's all just fabric. Happiness held in the seed; happiness shared in the flower. Awards: 2nd place in the Sulky American contest, Professional category $ 4,000
